This ground breaking session will explore the challenges we face with today’s counselors and the cultures of praise they’ve grown up with at school, sports leagues and at home. Dave will explore some of the research being conducted right now on the effect the culture of “good job” has on the performance of college students. Dave will not only define the problem, he will explore creative solutions that camp directors can employ to re-create the culture of praise at their camp.
