Evan has been involved in the creation of camp technology since 2002, when he founded what became the most popular Internet search engine for youth development programs. A graduate of both the University of Manitoba and the University of Calgary, Evan co-founded ExpertOnlineTraining.com in 2008, with Dr. Christopher Thurber. His creativity and forward thinking have propelled ExpertOnlineTraining.com into the top position among web-based educational resources for youth development professionals. Evan has been invited to appear at numerous conferences and on radio and television programs in Canada and the United States to discuss the benefits of virtual pedagogy as a complement to face-to-face learning. He and his wife, Shaby, live in Toronto with their two children, Aviva (born in 2009) and Ezra (born in 2011).
